After delivery Andersen was observed for many hours and discovered that he was having issues breathing. The chest x-ray that he recieved came back showing that he has distressed respiritory syndrom. He has been on oxygen for about 10 hours. He is at 46% of oxygen intake. The doctors are highly considering transporting him to Peoria where he could reciveve a medication that would help his lungs to expand.
Mandy is doing well. She didnt sleep much last night but her pain is much better this morning. Thanks to a new medication they gave her last night. She had the opportunity to spend about an hour in the nursery with Andersen this morning. She wasnt able to hold him but was able to look at him, touch him, and talk to him.
