Week 3

I know it has been forever since an update. So sorry about that. Andersen has been doing wonderfully the past week or so. At his doctor appointment yesterday he weighed 4lb 12oz. We were very excited about this! He is eating GREAT and we are starting to see improvments on his acid reflux. He is still having several episodes of apnea at night. When the monitor goes off all Mandy and Joel have to do is stir him a little and he gets right back to breathing. Thank goodness thats all it takes!

It is so fun when he is awake. He has huge eyes that study everything around him. He looks so intently from one thing to another. Don't you just wonder what babies think. Here he just spent the last 8 months in total darkness and now he has the whole world to look at. I would love know what goes through his mind. And when he sleeps he has the BEST smiles. I would do anything to know what those little smiles are about :)

The kids LOVE holding him and giving him kisses. They are doing a good job of washing their hands, keeping the germs away, and being gentle with him.

There is not a day that goes by that we don't thank Jesus for this little boy. He is a GIFT to our family and we feel so honored that we were entrusted with this little angel.
